Who is it for?
Anyone is welcome. Whether you're just starting your yoga journey or ready to go deeper, this course is suitable for all levels.
"After some research into Yoga I decided to embark on an introductory course with Shankari. I am not the youngest nor the nimblest of people and I was worried about the positions that people who practice yoga are able to achieve.
So began my journey into yoga and I must admit that I entered with great trepidation. What I soon realised was that it wasn’t just about the yoga positions and exercise but also about the mindset.
Shankari is a very nurturing, kind, and insightful teacher. I soon felt very comfortable and really enjoyed her classes. So much so that I involved my wife and 2 daughters. She challenges us in a way that addresses our issues that brings out the very best in us.
Shankari’s knowledge is unquestionable and I thoroughly enjoy her teaching which has in fact changed my life. I go to the gym regularly and thought I was reasonably fit however the life lessons I have been taught by Shankari have helped me both physically and mentally. I have been able to achieve more in my outdoors activities such as mountaineering, climbing, canoeing, kayaking, etc.
I have also been able to achieve more by being taught breathing exercises which have proved invaluable and life changing.
The meditation has helped me to focus my mind and concentrate. I work in a very stressful environment so being able to relax through the meditation taught has had a huge impact on my stress levels. Her grace, calmness and inspiration has had a positive impact on me.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Shankari and I hope the people that embark on Shankari’s yoga journey are ready for something truly unique."
